RTP Edit Undead

Some monster edits I did for a game i'm working on. I see so many of those edits done to the battlers for the vx rtp (like on closet's site), and it made me think why no one did this to the older rtps? I know it's old school, but I really love the look of the monsters in the RM2000 rtp. They got this slick Dragon Quest vibe to them.

I post a lot of monsters, so I figured i'd do something different today. Nakkuruman makes some pretty nice charasets for both VX and XP. He's also one of the only people I know who makes modern/scifi styled characters. You can check out his page here:

Closet

This place is a MUST for people looking for battlers that are in the same style as the VX rtp. Lot's of  edits to the main set of monsters that actually look pretty good, and a couple of brand new monsters here and there too! I don't mean to repeat myself, but if you get anything out of reading this blog, GO HERE, Closet is probably one of the best places to get decent looking fantasy monsters from.

Mack's Battlers

Speaking of Mack's battlers (Yes, THAT Mack), here they are! I'm not sure if these are all of them though, as from what I understand, Mack took his Battlers down off of his blog.

Here's a little collection of some battlers I found off of First Seed Material's Forums. Downloads are in the links bellow. Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot, but they do go pretty well with mac's battlers and a couple of the battlers from the vx rtp.

Some New Finds

Found these monsters off of Pixiv. They're from a design contest for RPG Maker DS + Not really suitable as battlers, but they're just the right size to use as monsters with RM 2k. I especially like the spider queen and the possessed girl.

Rpg Tsukuru 3 Monsters

I've been thinking a lot lately of the RPG Maker game that came out on the PS1 and it reminded me just how cool the monsters were for that game.

Anyway, i've uploaded a zip file of all the monster sprites from RPG Tsukuru III for you guys here: http://hotfile.com/dl/142740970/a6c5e5d/RPG_Tsukuru_III.zip.html It's a pretty typical assortment of fantasy baddies. Some slimes, some goblins, a big four armed Demonlord, ect. Perfect for use with rpg maker 2000.

Battlers: Magellan

 Anybody who's been around the block knows about Magellan's sweet Battlers. The thing I always really dug about these was how much they emulate the look of Kazuma Kaneko's art. Without knowing any better, you'd assume these were new demons for a Shin Megami Tensei or Persona game.
